Q1:What's wrong with using different capacity battery packs together?

If different capacities or old and new batteries are mixed together, during the charging process, some lithium batteries are overcharged during the charging process, and some lithium batteries are not charged; In the discharge process, the high-capacity battery can not discharge,and the low-capacity battery overdischarge. In this vicious cycle, the battery is damaged and leaks liquid or low (zero) voltage.

Q2: How long the power wall battery pack lasts?

The inherent electrochemical structure of the power wall battery itself determines the inevitable loss of battery capacity, mainly caused by self-discharge. In general: the time of self-discharge is related to the solubility of the cathode material in the electrolyte and its instability after heating (easy self-decomposition). The self-discharge of the lithium iron phosphate battery pack is 3%/month.

Q3: What are the battery storage conditions? Does long storage require a full charge?

The wall-mounted lithium battery should be stored at a temperature of 0 ° C ~45 ° C and humidity of (65 ± 15) %. If you want to keep the battery for a long time, you can put it in a dry and low temperature environment, keeping the remaining capacity of the battery at about 50% is ideal. Q4: What is the possible cause of the LiFePO4 battery pack not being fully charged?
